We wanted to introduce you to our Kansas-Texas friend Fancy. She owns a great little shop in Weston,Mo, outside of Kansas City. We first met Fancy in Texas awhile back and just adore her style and spirit. She is now carrying a few of our ceiling tin tile art pieces in her shop-Cactus Creek. She has gathered fun items that inspire a rustic, western, and vintage goods. She also is a member of Junk Mafia, an online radio show that talks about recycling,vintage, and great places to shop at. They are a fun group and you must listen, you'll learn alot!

We just wanted to share with you an ol' friend. check her out!

Bottoms Up Market & Junk Mafia

We're a little behind on our posts because Typepad was having some issues, but it looks like it all got figured out. So, last weekend on our way back to home to IL, we stopped and set up shop at Kansas City's best antique market--Bottoms Up. Located in the "Bottoms" of KC in old brick warehouse buildings. There are several floors to this market that is filled with the best vintage goods you could ask for. Once a month Gwen and friends put this together on the first weekend of every month. We set up a display out front and then had a spot inside. We can't thank Gwen enough for fitting us in, she was already full with vendors but made some space for us. Thank you!

KC loved us and we loved KC! 

Before the Bottoms Up show we stopped by and hung out with our Junk Mafia friends at KCXL. Did an improptu radio spot with them and our gals from Texas-The Junk Gypsies. Who are on fire right now with  their HGTV show! We had a great time with Darren, Fancy, and Ed and hope to do some more radio with them in the future.

The fun is over though, we are back at home, working on all the custom orders we have from all of you and planning our next round of travels. We had a blast and we'll see you on the road soon!

Bottoms Up & Junk Mafia in KC!

We decided one more show before we head home to IL! Starting Friday we'll be at Bottoms Up in the "bottoms" in downtown Kansas City. We are super excited and so grateful Gwen was able to squeeze us in! Show starts friday May 4th 10-7 and May 5th 10-5. If you've never been to Bottoms Up, this is the time you should go, we've heard it's packed to the rafters with great stuff! See you there!

And we'll be on Junk Mafia Radio tomorrow morning at 10am with Darren and the JM gang! We'll be talking about the Bottoms Up show and our show this June with Country Stampede in Manhattan, KS! There will be some pretty exciting news revealed with that too! Tune in online and listen to the greatest junkin' show on the planet!

Country Living Fair-Austin!

We had sooooooooo much fun at the Country Living Fair in Austin this past weekend! You know we love Texas here at BBD, and this was noooooo exception! The people with Country Living treated us so well, we can't wait to come back to the next show! Speaking of which....we will be at the CL show in Ohio in the Fall!!

Here's Bobby on friday making all the last minute adjustments! We had an amazing 10x40 booth. We put the jewelry on two tables at the front of the booth and it made a great centerpiece for the booth.

This is how the booth looked at many times throughout the day. Lots and lots and lots of CL customers,and you all came to buy! Thank you so much for stopping by our booth!

We felt so fortunate to get to meet Sarah Grey Miller, the Editor of Country Living Magazine. She took it over a few years ago, and has done some amazing things with the magazine. Super sweet and talked with us a awhile.

Okay, so we are getting ready for this weekend's Country Living Fair!! Tricia is coming with her Mom and all the new jewelry she has been working on and we are at Zapp Hall working away on new projects as well!! Lots to do and make, we'll see you at the Fair! Travis County Fairgrounds in Austin-THIS WEEKEND!

Country Thunder 2012!

We had a blast at Country Thunder in AZ last weekend. We met so many great customers new and returning. This was the entrance to the music fest.

Here is our tent complete with new banners our jewelry designer Tricia made.

A few new pieces of jewelry made for the show..

These are the custom one time only Country Thunder tin tile guitars we made for the artists at the show. Each headliner was presented with a guitar to take with them to put in the bus, office, studio.

The main stage, our booth was right by the stage, we were lucky enough to hear the whole concert!

and this is the famous "chair run" At the beginning of the show the concertgoers RUN to get the best seat possible to watch the show. It was kinda fun watching them all run past our booth...hee hee

Here we are with Craig Morgan backstage presenting him with his guitar. He loved it, and was very grateful. Craig is one the best performers, if you have the chance-see him in concert!

This sweet conccert-goer picked out this guitar for Blake Shelton, but it ultimately went to Alan Jackson. She was okay with that too!

Ken, one of our employees got to go backstage and meet Kelli Pickler, he was so excited he even bought one of her shirts! She was a total sweetheart!

Tricia's friends Shelly and Christie came out and added some sparkle to the booth!

Up and coming new country music artists The Farm came to hang out at the booth too. Watch for this band they are great singers and just all around cool people.

Neal McCoy getting his custom guitar. Neal is one of the best performers on the planet! He really gets the crowd movin'! Now you know why Blake and Miranda had him as their wedding singer! Ask him the lyrics to YMCA, hee hee.

Well. we're playing catch up here on the blog, and still on the road, getting ready for the Country Living Fair in Austin next week. But there is still so much of Antiques week left to share! These fun ladies stopped by the booth. We loved their "red solo cups"!

This cutie-pa-tootie is a HUGE Brantley Gilbert fan and loved hearing Bobby's story about how he and Brantley met, and was over top excited to get to have her photo taken with the custom guitar we made for BG.

We brought many of our new jewelry items with us, and pretty much sold out of alot!

Texas Antiques Week

Well, Texas Antiques Week has come and gone, and its more like two weeks for us. We had a great time seeing all of our old friends and made lots of new ones. Thank you to everyone who came by and visited with us who saw our write up in the Show Daily Magazine. I'll have a scan of that later here on the blog. Show Daily did an amazing story on BBD. We can't thank them enough for the love they showed us. This photo here is of Jayson and Jaime hanging our new banner.

Zapp Hall Countdown!

Zapp Hall here we come!! A few more days and then we are on our way to the most amazing Antiques show on the Planet! Here's a preview of one of the new jewelry items we have come up with for you. We've put together a whole new line since our last trip to Texas, and you are going to be blown away! So much great stuff, the only problem you'll have is what to buy and how you are going to get it all home! See you at Zapp! Show starts March 30th-April 7th! We're almost ready, are you?
